Weapon: Dagger Blades

Used in Leray combat at close range, daggers are designed to quickly and effectively slash and puncture skin, sharply reducing the HP of any target hit by these blades. Daggers are preferred among many Leray wielders for their easy acquisition and ease of use in the field. While short range weapons only, the carry of daggers enables specific spells that would normally not be possible, or spells that would require further prerequisites. Skills such as Flying Guillotine, Shotwhirl, Mako Beam, Mako Strike, and Dark Slice would not function without these small blades.
Daggers in general always come in a pair, but there are various models and methods to their construction, giving more dynamics to strategy should the wielder buy them.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Dagger blades are made of steel, but unlike ordinary knives, they are curved off at the end. The trick with these blades is to stab and slash at the same time, creating strong cuts through wielders or other creatures to inflict physical slashing damage.

Manufacturing process

All weapons used in Sprawn Valley are synthesized to be protected from destruction through the veil.

Significance

Having an element of surprise to the choice of weaponry can often be the key to early victory, and daggers are one of the smallest, most easily concealed weapons. Dagger blades can also be infused with elemental magical energy for damage amplification.
