Behemoth
Behemoths are referred to as a negative genetic mutation to a wolfhound. Thought to be altered from the effects of only dark magic, these behemoths are massive in size, equipped with deadly long claws and razor sharp teeth, and are hostile to any creature smaller than itself. Behemoths are not welcome in society, as they hunt for human flesh.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The behemoth is far stronger and larger than most creatures, and can easily swallow a human whole. Behemoths have a taste for red blood, and a powerful jaw that can snap bones into bits. Behemoths also have a metallic curved horn on the top of their head, which they can use to rip open flesh without clawing it.
Genetics and Reproduction
The behemoths appear to be spawned either by dark magic fields or by artificial genetic modification of a species.
Ecology and Habitats
Lives in dark zones.
Dietary Needs and Habits
If Behemoths are created in a labratory, they can be made to exist anywhere in a world with a magic veil. But if they are spawned from a dark magic zone, often by random surges of energy displacement, then they are bound to that dark magic zone, and cannot leave it.
Additional Information
Domestication
Behemoths are not interested in domestication.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Behemoths have good eyesight, but their nose can smell any sign of life from over two miles away.
