Funworlder
Common genetic alterations made for populations of pleasure planets.
Traits (2):
Extra Sense: Empathy (1) - Funworlders often have a genetic distinction introduced that enhances their empathic awareness toward the feelings of those around them, allowing them to 'read' the emotional state of people with whom they’re in close proximity. The character has to be within touching distance (about 5 feet) of a subject to use this sense. Youthful Appearance (1) - Funworlders are notorious for being ageless. Although they live about as long as other humans, they tend to reach full maturity in their late-teens and retain that appearance for as long as they live. Skill Bonus: Pleasant (2) - Genetically engineered to be attractive in every way, Funworlders tend to find that their natural good looks and biologically tailored charm help them in a wide variety of social situations. They enjoy a +2 bonus to all checks involving Bargain, Con, and Persuasion. Hindrance: Pliancy (R1) - Funworlders are genetically programmed to lower their inhibitions and determination. For characters, this translates as a +2 increase to any difficulties involving Stamina, Survival, or Willpower. Players are free to increase the level of this Flaw (up to R3) to gain additional points. Hindrance: Fine-Boned (R1) - Because of their genetic preference for light and attractive bodies, Funworlders suffer a -1 penalty to their Damage Resistance total. Players are free to increase the level of this Flaw (up to R3) to gain additional points.Suggested Flaws:
Debt - Much like Farmworlders, many owners of Funworlds treat their subjects as serfs or slaves, and individuals have to pay off their Birth Prices to gain citizenship. This flaw represents the debt the character has had to incur to receive hir freedom. Enemy - A Funworlder that escapes illegally from hir planet winds up on a corporate blacklist by hir owning corporation and may be subject to retrieval or extradition by local authorities (dependent on their relationship with the corporation) at any time. Prejudice - Many people across the galaxy see Funworlders in a certain light… and not a favorable one. If the character has the Funworld 'look' about hir, it may lock hir into a minority that’s often dismissed, marginalized, or outright hated by many folk across the galaxy.Basic Information

Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
When they were genegineered, Funworlders received an empathic sense that lets them detect the emotional state and feelings of other humans (and human variants) within about 5 feet of them. They can't read thoughts; they just sense emotional state and intensity.
