Tallfelds
The agricultural golden lands of Grand Marin, Tallfelds is more a collection of scattered villages than a city. However, there is a central authority with administrative buildings and the Haymarket situated around the church.
A bounty of produce is grown in the fields and several vineyards and orchards have established themselves in the higher reaches of the region. Threesheath brewery is the oldest brewery in Grand Marin and is little changed in over four-hundred years.
Each bale (village) has its own tavern and each night the musicians compete to be the loudest, meaning those workers still ploughing or harvesting away into the long hours can enjoy vast collaborations of melodies. Each bale has its own style of music.
The folk of Sumshire are stout and strong, particularly in the Tallfelds region, it isn’t the crops which gave the place its name. The wattle-and-daub houses are generally a foot taller than those found elsewhere in The Marinian Isles .
