Earth Elemental
Born of soil and stone, earth elementals are hardy beings. Prone to lengthy pontifications and examining situations from every angle multiple times, they cancome off as being as slow and ponderous as the material they're made of. However, when earth elementals do take action, they do so decisively and without hesitation, standing firm on their convictions.
In battle, they make for stubborn combatants, protected as they are against many attacks by their hardy composition. On the offence, they batter targets with massive earthen limbs or shoot them down at a distance with carefully aimed boulders. They will often leverage their surprising mobility to their advantage, diving into the ground to strike at targets from blind angles.

An earth elemental is a mass of dirt, earth and stones, arranged in an amorphous shape, though the elemental can shape limbs if needed. Their connection with the ground enables them to swim through earth and walk on any surface made of dirt or stone no matter how steep, even walking upside down on stone ceiling if needed. It also roots them to the ground and, combined with being composed of stone and dirt, enables them to absorb blows that would send others flying. In fact, the deeper in the ground an earth elemental is found, the stronger it becomes, its body hardening considerably.
On the other hand, an earth elemental separated from the ground will rapidly lose stability, become fragile and easily smashed apart. And earth elemental caught un such a situation will attempt to dive for the nearest stretch of earth as soon as possible.
As might be expected, rocks, stone and such are harmlessly absorbed by the elemental, but wind has proven to have a powerfully erosive effect on them. On blustery days, earth elementals tend to stay underground.
