Tideguard
The Tideguard are an elite military unit that specializes in the defense of the waters and coasts around the Kingdom of Sirokosa. They also patrol inland and serve as the elite bodyguard of the royal family.
They're dressed in their signature sea green half-plate armor adorned with arcane runes that give the wearer the ability to breathe underwater, swim with magical speed and enable them to surface quickly. They favor pole arms such as halberds, pikes, spears and tridents while often wearing a shortsword for close quarters combat. Some are also practised magic users in water and storm spells as well as having the weapons training of their regular troops.
The ships of the Tideguard patrol the seas surrounding the Kingdom of Sirokosa and are the pride of the nation. Sleek, fast and heavily armed vessels with magic users to power their sails or assault any enemy ships they encounter they're a formiddable force at sea.
