Glyth

The most dangerous world in Realmspace and perhaps the whole Radiant Triangle, Glyth is an outpost of the Illithid Empire. The surface has been completely scoured to a burned ruin, except for protected enclaves operated by the mind flayers. The Illithids themselves and their Elder Brain overseers live deep underground in fortified hives, where they plot the downfall of all free life in the Triangle.

The rings around Glyth include many habitable asteroids, though few are foolish enough to try and live that close to the mind flayers without their express permission. Some daring rebels or pirates may use these asteroids to mount raids on Glyth, but it is Spelljammer Corps policy to keep far away from anything to do with that world. Nevertheless, skirmishes to contain and disrupt Illithid operations throughout the rest of the system are common, so be on your guard!
