Anadia
The first world of Realmspace, Anadia is a relatively small and rocky world too inhospitable for most life, outside of the polar regions. The wastes around the equator of the world are inhabited by large tribes of umber hulks, left over from a failed Neogi colonization effort centuries ago. The polar regions are each inhabited by halfling communities.
While relatively few compared to the population of Toril and without much access to magic or spelljamming technology, the locals are exceptionally proud to the point of arrogance. Only four out of the main twelve settlements of the north will even allow Spelljammers to approach, the rest will fire ballistae on sight. The southern settlements are even more hazardous, as centuries-long turf wars and clan violence means that any spelljammer which attempts to land will be attacked and their ship seized to be used as part of this simmering civil war. While trade is possible with some northern Anadians, it is widely recommended to avoid this world unless strictly necessary.
