Splu' Gorth Frigate

The term frigate is used as the closest analogy of it's fleet functions compared to larger models. The shape of the Splu' Gorth is reminiscent of a shark or swordfish. but the vessel is showing a split in the middle lengthwise, making it that a central section is less as smooth looking and it has fin like ventral and dorsal structures sticking out from the upper and lower hull sections, the mid-line has lit areas function unknown, and weapon arrays as well as the majority of cysts for the vessels and craft carried. Some of the gravitic manipulation drives are also inside the upper and lower tail sections. In the mid-line is the fold assist drive for when the vessel is in a "Fleet-Ball" as the Na' Ur travel in a massed formation to open shadow rifts to fold through.   As in other fleets, the Splu' Gorth is the most numerous of the thousands of capital vessels employed by the Na' Ur Instrumentality. In other words, a One Thousand ship ball likely will have close to five hundred Splu' Gorths and the other classes divided into the other half. The ships are also colonies of various sized and makes and models of Nanites to nano-bots who maintain the running and integrity of their home vessel, and can close or open halls and cyst chambers for organic passengers as needed. This also means that the vessels of the Na' Ur normally are not using life support w/o passengers, and have no hallways or rooms to make use of in a boarding action if some race wanted to board the vessels to disrupt them.   Dimensions:   Splu' Gorths run roughly 1800meters in length. some 850-900meters from ventral to dorsal fin tips. Width approximately 300-400mneters wide depending on model and alternate function.   Weaponry:   Phased Polaron Beam arrays (70) these weapons can bypass shields and do major damage to power systems and can cause overloads in said power systems as well as major damage to structural materials. there are these and other weapons loaded around the hull of the vessel, allowing it to make many attacks from some angles and broadside attacks also upper and lower hull spots. If shields become more difficult to penetrate, the ship can add more power to the weapons as well as shift frequency to deal with the obstacle of shields.   Plasma Torpedoes These weapons are also employed and make use to help shred shields as the plasma envelops the shields of the target vessel. If unshielded, then the target will be super-heated and have outer components fused and melted, armor will change from the rapid heating and possibly become brittle.   Hyper-Rail gun batteries (60) These weapons are rail-guns that use accelerators advanced enough to hurl their ammunition up to 70% of light speed, making them hit hard, and with enough kinetic force to seem like nuclear strikes and would be devastating orbital bombardment weapons.   Nega-Sphere launchers (20) These are the black sphere shaped weapons that can expand in size, and work as anti-meson weapons that disintegrate targets. These are used to make shields explode, and shield less targets will have holes punched in them as the sphere eats the hull until it runs out and dissipates with a "POP" noise.   Heavy, long range Ion projectors (20) These usually fire beams of Ion energy that can shut down power systems, disrupt computers and other modules of a ship that is targeted. Another way they attack is firing a blob or "torpedo" as it were of Ion energy that will do the damage upon impact, the drawback is if it misses, it will go on until it hits another target or runs out of Ion energy   Heavy Tractor Beam arrays (12) These allow the Na' Ur to grapple and pull in vessels for assimilation, boarding, or destruction by Nanite swarms to help repair itself.   Various mechandendrite tentacles Getting too close to Na' Ur ships can result in being grabbed by rapidly grown nanite produced tentacles made from the nano-bots linking and grappling the target vessel as they start to do damage to said unshielded target.   Armor and shields:   Na' Ur vessels are made from uses of Adamantium, Duranium, and other advanced alloys and materials that the Instrumentality has access to and makes them durable vessels as is. But that is their structural and armor package.   Anti-Beam coating is added to help deflect inbound beams that may get through such as lasers and or particle projector beams.   Anti-Ray and deflector shields are also used by the Na' Ur along with Gravitic shields as layers of the defense of these vessels.   Nega-Sphere tech shields. These shields are the defensive version of the Nega-sphere used as weapons by the Na' Ur, destroying all solid projectiles and some energy weapon strikes.   Support craft:   Marauder class fighter units (300)   Troop transports (30)   Gunboats (30)   Corvettes (4)   Shuttle craft (8)   Crew/passengers:   when strictly Na' Ur the vessels make use of their Network connections for the officer level units to interact with the ship from their cysts, so no bridges per se exist, but the ships can carry any number of organics when in use by other members of the Instrumentality usually a few thousand   Combat units carried in cysts until drop operations: 25000 of various classes.       Notes:   All in all, the Na' Ur make extensive use of these craft, and if this was all they used, they could still be a difficult foe to deal with, but, they have mighty vessels of varied sizes and scales and with more horrifying weapons
