NU-X11

NU-X11 is a M2 IV Red Subgiant Star. It seems to have already grown to consume much of its inner planets, leaving only one barren, glassed world, and a gas giant on the system’s outer edge. The gas giant gives off a surprising golden sheen, the result of its large quantities of Hyperium . Otherwise known as Hyper-Dense Deuterium, Hyperium is an invaluable resource for advanced forms of fusion.   Unlike most planets which would probably be consumed normally, its likely in a couple million years, NU-X11 will likely ignite the gas giant’s Hyperium. Whether this would cause NU-X11 would greatly grow in mass possibly causing an early nova, or the gas giant to ignite into its own star, is difficult to simulate.   Regardless, it seems another species has already claimed this system. A number of automated satellites orbit the gas giant, collecting its valuable resource. They go about their work diligently, oblivious to outside discovery.   When the Capeleon Compact fell in 10,000 AF, it fell under control of the Na’ Ur Instrumentality.
