Mr Edward Jude Shadesong (a.k.a. The Magic Man, Ed, Dragon Heart)
Sarcastic, caring, carefree and arrogant, he used to live a life of freedom and depended on his parents, his father a businessman and his mother a doctor and a scientist, but when his father died during Conary Enterprise's (under Alvis' thumb) attempt at snuffing out the competition his mother had no choice but to take over the company seeing as Edward didn't want it.
Alexis approached his mother under the disguise of a Headmistress to invite Edward to a private academy for gifted youngsters, insisting that Edward is far more capable than she'd think and she'd agree though not seeing Edward as a teacher, was desperate for him to do something. Turns out, he is great with kids but he soon found out that the academy is no ordinary school and that he is destined for more than what meets the eye.
