Ekran is the planet Shulon's capital city and the Shulanite government's seat. The planet is one of the largest cities on the planet and is seen as a Megalopolis divided into different city districts.
The city is located inland on the western side of the planet's southern continent on and between some bluffs.
City Sectors
Upper Bluff
Upper Bluff is one of the older areas of the city located on the top of the northernmost bluff. It is one of the older rich areas in the city and is home to a lot of the old rich families and their properties.
It is home to a lot of older traditional styles especially the more expensive grander styles that were often used by the wealthy.
Deldah Family Townhouse
The Deldah Family Townhouse is an expensive well maintained townhouse in the Upper Bluff neighborhood that is owned and lived in by the Deldah family an influential old-money family.
The townhouse is multistory with a ground floor, second floor, basement, and attic. There is also a small back garden and garage, which are quite small due to their location in the city.
Lakeside
Lakeside is a neighborhood in the city located near and around a large lake. The neighborhood is mostly middle class and is located relatively close to the downtown areas of the city, making work commutes much easier.
There are a lot of subdivided houses, small apartment-style housing units, and family townhouses; there are also many city parks and walking trails.
The Ekran Water Gardens
The Ekran Water Gardens are an ancient and beloved landmark of the city often used for picnics and family hangouts.
The gardens are located along and in a large lake inside the city. The garden paths lead both along the shoreline as well as along bridges and pathways built over the surface of the water. There are many benches for people to sit at as well as waterfalls and other water features to entertain the parkgoers.
Some of the garden pathways are more ancient and some are more modern due to the many renovations and additions done to the gardens. Most of the garden facilities are made out of stone and brick.
