Luvah IV is notable for its sheer size as well as its congeniality. The scale of planetary resources available is so huge that Luvah is accounted to be the cheapest source of real estate in the whole Federation. It is estimated that the planet could support a population five times that of Terra itself, though the high gravitational field would be an impediment for colonists.
The society on Luvah is thoroughly technically integrated with a significant industrial component to the economy in addition to the established agricultural base. The gas giant in the system has an established tap project which provides most of the petrochemical and agricultural needs of the planet.
There is no apparent repression on Luvah (it is significantly less than 1%) because there are opportunities for everyone and one solution to any issues is simply to move to somewhere else, there's plenty of room!
The colony is well established, being founded in 2244 after the great collapse on Terra but just before the Union of Planets was formed but had always maintained a high level of technology and is now a major source of high tech equipment for the sector.
