Fastar was colonised from Carthage in 2421 as a research base and is a F'sstah (the name comes from human mispronunciation) with voting rights in the Carthaginian Confederacy. Fastar is a very advanced base with all the systems being of the best MekPurr design. The most notable item is the moon which is fitted out as a very highly automated and advanced orbital fortress. The weapons research being carried out is top secret and is part of an ambitious program to improve MekPurr capabilities to Tech/11 levels.
