A teacher during the Xelian War, when Earth began exterminating Xelians he hid his Xelian students in his attic, he would bring them food and teach them when he finished at the school each day. One day an Officer with his company showed up at Gekinoo's door looking for refugees. The kids weren't found but they still arrested Gekinoo because the Officer had received a tip from another teacher that Gekinoo was doing this. When Gekinoo was let out, the children had starved to death in his attic. Gekinoo blamed himself for their deaths but knew killing the soldiers would solve nothing as more would just replace them, he had to look at the top. From his Juche teachings Gekinoo knew he had to rely on himself so he became a government official himself and vowed to protect the innocent.
