Mercenary Collars
Like sports team jerseys, helmets, etc. Identifies mercs as part of a Warlord’s/corporation’s team. Often forms of easy identification for tv and fans, they can also be used by corporations as forms of praise or punishment. The collars are traditionally only able to be removed during Draft. Collars must be worn and shown at all times, as they are visible contractual agreements. The collars are widely hated by Mercs.
Queen of Euphoria - Bitch/Shrewd - Mia wears the pink bitch collar with rhinestones. The Queen, like many Warlords, like to humiliate and punish their Mercs. The queen is very flamboyant and loves glitz and glitter, also loves to piss off Mia. The collar is the opposite of everything Mia likes. Glittery, clean, pink, girly, fabulous. Everyone else on this team wears “Shrewd”
Dick Filthy - Squirt - Dick Filthy has one really good Merc on his team, the rest are prospects. Nuke DeSilva is his best guy. Dick is inexperienced and often argues with Nuke on how to run the gang. Nuke was saved from expulsion from the GML by Dick’s dad Richard, an old, longtime Warlord on the GML board of directors. Nuke negotiated with Richard in that he wouldn’t have to wear a collar, and would help Dick run the gang. Dick’s inexperience and naivete motivates him to punish Nuke with a new collar. It is introduced in his first draft under Dick, unknown to Richard and Nuke. Dick lies to get the collar placed on Nuke.
