Circle of the Moonlit Grove

The Moonlit Grove remains to this day one of the most important sites on Irida. A massive grove grown by the Gods themselves, it is carefully tended to by an organization of dutiful stewards and druids. The epicenter of the Grove is the Tree of Energy, which put forth the Positive and Negative Wellsprings when it first bloomed. There are other plants, however - one made from each God by their own hands, and all of this falls under the Circle's jurisdiction.

Structure

• Archdruid - The highest ranking title, with only one of each classification. They are split into Ruby (manages security and recruitment), Sapphire (manages outside relations), and Emerald (manages the Grove).
• Druid - The middle rank, Druids manage Keepers on a daily basis and report to their respective Archdruid. There are only three of each kind of Druid at any time, and when one dies the Keeper with the most experience is selected to take their place.
• Keeper - The lowest rank, Keepers make up the main task force of the Circle.

Culture

Members of the Circle of the Moonlit Grove forswear all holdings outside of the Grove when they are inducted as Keepers. They also forswear any familial relations outside of the Grove. They are not prevented from intermingling from within the Circle, which has occurred on quite a few occasions, but Keepers (and sometimes even Druids) have been known to somewhat less frequently engage in strictly no-strings attached relationships with those outside of the Grove, as that is also within their guidelines. This results in a group whose culture is almost entirely devoid of affection for the outside world.

Public Agenda

• Tend to the grounds of the Moonlit Grove - weeding, pruning, and watering plants
• Safeguard the Grove from trespassers, thieves, and ne'er-do-wells
• Keep track of the Tree of Energy and harvest it whenever it bears fruit
