Supernatural Order Exacerbation Phenomenon

Monsters have always been a part of our world. Their nashing teeth and raking claws have filled the nightmares of children from the time of kings to now. The worrying part about it all is that they seem to be growing in number.   The cause remains unknown, officially speaking, but hypotheses are being produced and tested by every group of interest on the planet. The general consensus is that we're the cause, specifically our extraction of magical resources across the globe, and then our processing of them. The how remains a bit more obscure, but it seems that series of events and tasks results in the release of magic back into the world in some amounts but in a farm more amorphous form. This magic existing throughout the world in such amounts is resulting in monsters proliferating far quicker, and growing to full size and more in a fraction of the time.   It's not all bad, right? At least we can produce Wolf Claws far cheaper than we could ten years ago. Great for personal defense. Then again, I have a feeling that the amount of death-packages being paid out to the hunters likely counters the savings...
