The Sword and Mimic

The Sword and Mimic Bar is a ATG tavern run by Bellognatus Lusk, known either as Bell or Lusk. He runs it as a hub for adventurers, which has gotten much use over time. He has several accommodations in addition to the Doors of Harold Lancaster, which he uses for temporary stays.
Physical description: The door to this tavern leads up some stairs to a view out some windows in the common room. Booths are aligned to these windows, and tables with chairs cover most of the rest of the room. The bar and a small cleared area in the middle of the tavern cleared for performances. When the charecters arrive the people in the tavern are Lusk, behind the bar, Harold, deep in his drink in a corner away from the window, and the party of the Seekers Arcane. When they enter they are immediately called to by Lusk, who greets them and offers them a room.

Purpose / Function

The purpose of this building has been to be a Tavern/Inn from it’s construction, and it continues to serve that purpose to this day.

Alterations

Harold Lancaster added a special version of an extradimentional space to the tavern, in the form of demiplanes that act as rooms for adventurers who stay there. They are organized as follows, 1 door per party, 1 room per party member. To get into a room, the owner must open the door or a person can say the room owners name and knock on their door, which would then connect to the room of the owner.

Architecture

This building is made up of some oak wood and clay, with a stone foundation.

Defenses

The adventurers who frequent this tavern defend it in cases of emergency. Lusk has a box on his shelf which contains 7 pearls in organized cases, and room for 9  more. These pearls act as his links to the Lanterns of the Guild, a magic item used for communication with his adventuring parties. They can be used to summon the adventurers home if necessary.

History

The Tavern has housed several adventuring parties over the years, with some of their most notable accomplishments being displayed as trophies throughout the tavern.
