Snipflash

Snipflash is a spell for transporting paper documents or messages around the world almost instantaneously, though only for a limited number of times per document or note.

Effect

Snipflash allows the almost immediate transportation of a sheet of paper or document to be transferred to any imaginable place, so long as the intended recipient has been met before.
Casting Snipflash requires some form of Sniflash-capable paper, either in the form of Snipflash paper or paper infused with Snipflash Essence, though do keep in mind that they behave differently!
Attempting to cast Snipflash without the proper material can lead to severe burns and partial transfer of said burned digits.

Using Snipflash Paper

To make use of two-directional messaging via Snipflash, one requires a sheet of Snipflash paper of any size, available at any Enchantery.
One of the sides will appear slightly charred not hold ink, whereas the other side will be clean and receptive.
While holding a sheet of Snipflash paper, casting Snipflash and snipping the fingers holding the paper will make the sheet ignite and burn rapidly from the point of contact, leaving nothing behind.
The paper will then un-burn in the hand of the intended recipient, the initial message lightly charring one side of the sheet, the other now receptive.
The recipient may then right a reply and snip their fingers, resulting in the same effect.
The paper will return to its owner once again, though upon its return it loses its magical properties, and the charred paper will be very fragile.
The caster may either have a book prepared for storing it, or may scatter it to the wind, the message but gone.

Using Essence of Snipflash

For transferring non-Snipflash paper, Essence of Snipflash will be required, available at most Enchanteries.
Keep in mind that the transfer will be single-use only, and will not allow any further transport of the document via Snipflash without a cleansing of the document.
Apply the Essence of Snipflash to the document in question, ideally letting it soak in a vat overnight.
The more of the essence permeates the document, the less damage it will sustain.
While holding the Snipflash-infused document, casting Snipflash and snipping the fingers holding the paper will make the sheet ignite and burn rapidly from the point of contact, leaving nothing behind.
The paper will then un-burn in the hand of the intended recipient, the document lightly singed around the edges if sufficient essence was applied.
If in insufficient amount is applied, the document may arrive heavily damaged or even in the form of ash, so make sure to use enough Essence of Snipflash.
