Obsidian Drakes

Obsidian Drakes, terrifying beasts of burden to the underbelly, and sufficient war mounts to boot. Native to the Underbelly of the World (Particularily Volcanic or Mountainious regions such as Auhes or Ittrita), these monsterous creatures consume large amounts of ore, and melt it in a chamberpot of a stomach to blast molten ore like a breath weapon out at its enemies. This however is usually considered a stress response more than something they actively do to defend themselves. However many Ittritas train Obsidian Drakes for this idea in specific.
They are large, loud, and aggressive, often fighting each other in cramped quarters. They are almost never saddled and ridden because of the fact they would buck them off and seriously harm someone. Instead they are usually just.. Set loose on a battlefield rather than actively controlled.
Obsidian Drakes are almost never for sale, but auctions for the beasts have been known to go well over 3000G.
