Guardians

"A ancestor to what would go on to become the basework for the Spirits, the Guardians are something that is not quite dead, not quite alive, but filled with spirit."
— Dr.Valdis
Hailing from the Garden Offshoot planet of Leshen, the original segregated homeworld of the Wind Elves, Guardians are a mysterious force which have pledged themselves in loyalty to the Wind Elves. While their extension can reach other races and other Elves, it appears as if their strongest bond reaches with a potentially ancient oath. It is not currently investigated into when these Guardians arrived, nor for what purpose. Posed forward are potentially blighted elves who completely transformed, but were able to be salvaged somehow, or potentially a symbiotic alien race which just adhered itself to the Wind Elves during their fall from various planets during the war on Apollyon.   Individuals with information are encouraged to come forward to update this entry.

Classifications of Guardian

Unlike other individuals, most species of Guardian since the revival of the planet are not documented. Coming into existence from abberancy based spawning pools; (potentially former blight pools?) these entities are generally named by those who discover them, or based on the sound the creature makes.

All guardians fall under the elemental alignments similar to spirits, but divulge into different groups dependent under the blanket term.   It is common practice on the planet of Leshen to give Guardians proper 'names'. Guardians can only grow stronger on Leshen as they connect to their spawning pools and grow due to defeating guardians in battle.   Evolution is the next stage of power for a guardian often growing from its battling experience they tend to get bigger stronger and can even develop new typings. Evolution can also be from exposure to elemental crystals and other means such as friendship, or even by traveling to see the world.   Temperament of Guardians vary differently yet can become easily aggressive and can generally be dangerous to handle. Wild Guardians are often unpredictable the bigger they are.   Guardians come in all shapes and sizes, often excelling in either combat, style, or even physical labor, it is up to the trainers to make the most out of a guardians potential.   A rare classification of mutations in Guardians is called being Shiny. For the most part this is to comment of the strange coloring a guardian can take, though Shiny also refers to potential type changes from others of its species, unique moves that it might know, size differences or even more yet to be discovered variants.

Guardian Ownership.

Here are some general rules on owning Guardians within the campaign.
  • Unless you are a Wind Elf; you may only keep 1 guardian on you at a time. Wind Elves racially get 3 in their 'party' at a time.
  • Regardless if you are a Wind Elf or not, you can only have 1 Guardian deployed at a time in combat.
  • You can swap out Guardians when visting Leshen at the Safari Zone.
  • You may only level up your guardians during these Leshen Safari Zone mini-sessions.
  • Guardian Mentality. It is well known that Guardians are sentient creatures, and there are special translators that are produced on Leshen to allow communication with the creatures. Their language appears to be one of many 'elder' languages, or a more native to them language; 'Gyurii'.

    Safari Zone Guidelines

  • When wishing to enter the Safari Zone, ask Pyro, because I'll have to set up a different foundry server for the system, travel to Leshen and talk to Nox, and get geared up in Safari Zone safe equipment.
  • You are not permitted to attack the Guardians on this reserve yourself. Please keep it limited to Guardian on Guardian combat only.
  • Please keep eyes open for any ecological disturbances. This is an artifical enviroment where ancient creatures from vastly different eras and time periods are being intermingled to create a reserve of creatures that our enemies will not see coming.
  • Choose one of the avalible biomes; Savannah, Jungle, or Marsh, and enjoy the hunt!
  • There may be 'special bounties' that are up regarding unique creatures, ecological threats that need eliminating, 'problem creatures', or so on.
