Caroline Silverheart - Kliyax Historical Figure

Standing upon the silver steps the Elven woman held her head high, as torrents of blood like waves ran down them. Her hands outstretched, and from her mouth came a banshee like scream. It is said this scream echoingly haunted out over the human soldiers, and caused them to turn tail and flee, fearing their safety. They claimed despite her white visage, the spirit of something darker lived within her. - Historical Texts
Caroline Silverheart was the last known survivor of the royal city of Taro'Zil. Taro'Zil, was a massive, lucrative port town. During the War of Collpasement, the war that made humans the ruling world power, the Elves were pushed back hard to the last remaining pure elven land. Kliyax, a massive set of islands in the middle of the ocean many claim that looks like a bow. Taro'Zil was the port town where most of these individuals came in. During the War of Collapsement, the human leader at the time, Svvi Reinledge, had put out an executive order to push the Elves back even further into their heartland. Ideally, to make sure they would never leave Kliyax again and the human rule would be secure.   As such, the Desolation of Taro'Zil came to effect. Svvi Reinledge commanded her royal mages to unleash Meteor Swarms upon the town, and control the elements to essentially wipe it off the map.
[Early Life]   Much of Caroline Silverheart's early life is unknown, but what is known is she was born to a tailoring family within the port town of Taro'Zil. She was expertly handled with all manner of clothing, and was said to have made a dress for a particular noble politician that came to town, as a gift, and thanks for the policies that had better tax management on tailors and other craftsmen.
[Mid Life]   Caroline Silverheart's notable performance came from the Siege of Taro'Zil. The young woman of age 204's family was completely wiped out from the meteor shower swarms, and it is thought she survived if only from the blessing of the gods. Considering what was to occur next, this is likely all but confirmed. The humans had been setting up a forward camp now, finally to get a foothold within the nation. The last building they went to claim was the political building of the area, a hall that held the worshipping statues of the Dhedes, and any unscorched documents pretaining to the local government. As the human army marched forward they had killed any injured and barely survived elves they had seen. This path of blood led to them at the base of the building.   Much to their surprise, a elven woman, appearing shaken stepped forward from inside the building. Her eyes were said to be completely red, glowing like beacons, and white robes flowed around her as the native doves scattered to the air slowly turned from their white lustrous sheen to a deep dark black. She opened her mouth and let out a horrible scream as she held her arms aloft, blood poured from the inside of the political building, rushing down the steps and staining her dress, pooling at the feet of the men. It is said some dropped dead in fright, as others attempted to take up arms. As they did she held out her hands towards them, and with the power of Rendrus, sent torrents of blood careening through the people out of the building.   For you see, Caroline had turned from being a normal elf. For the time being, Caroline was gone. All that remained was the god Rendrus, who had possessed her. He was angry, as this town was a main place of pact worship, coming to find out, it had a massive population of warlocks who worshipped the blood deity. Though many elves, and as its taught in elvish history, believe it is simply because Rendrus has favor for the elves.   The humans were pushed back by this one woman army, all the way out of Kliyax, until they boarded their ships, as its said the ocean around Kliyax turned red for thirty days in the aftermath.
Post Rendrus and Death   After the events of this, Caroline would turn up in the nearby small villa of Lunar Valley. It is said her body carried her to the entrance gate before it collapsed as Rendrus' power left her. Irreversibly she was marked by the god's touch with more prominent red veins all over her body, and piercing red eyes. She was praised a hero, and brought to the capital. She is memorialized with statues in the rebuilt Taro'Zil, and within the Hall of Heros in the main city of Kliyax. However the woman did not stop existing. For the rest of her life, as she lived to be 1000 before the wilting curse took her, dedicated her life to spreading the religion of Rendrus along the southern coast of Kliyax. As such, Rendrus became much more worshipped outside of druids and warlocks, as thanks for his guardianship of their civilization. It is said that this event is one of the many reasons why Elves have refused to turn away from Dhedes gods.

Elven Depictions of Rendrus often include illustrating him with horns, relating him more to a god of the wilds.
