The Satrapy of Narum-Sin

Ruler: Grand Sage of the Eternal Path

In the high peaks and plateaus of the northern part of the Ashurite Empire you will find Narum-Sin, a land of narrow passes, precipitous drops, and biting cold. Narumites are known for being devoted to the study of the LAW of Heaven but also superstitious, seeing portents in any number of natural events. Their land is filled with temples and shrines and everyday life is infused with religious and meditative overtones. Indeed, their head of state is a satrap in name only. In reality Narum-Sin is a theocracy lead by the Grand Sage of the Eternal Path. While devotion is high, it may be slipping. The Eternal Path has developed some strange teachings of late and many fear they walk a path that is not devoted to, but antithetical to LAW.
