History & Usage
History
What we now know as Bohesh or Yannem Iron was first made around 1100 AFR by the ancient ancestors of the Mo'okki people. When the Yannem people fully conquered and subjugated them in 1250 they took this practice and over a hundred years the technique for producing Bohesh was fully spread among the clans.
Everyday use
Since it is a relatively cheap and good quality metal it's used for many things including tools, weapons, and armor.
Cultural Significance and Usage
Outsiders have heard of stories of the Yannem and how their weapons and armor are made from a legendary metal that is the stuff of legends which is obviously a hyperbole.
Distribution
Law & Regulation
Before Balbekan opened up trade to the outside world, It wasn't an official law but since the Yannem and most other peoples of Balbekan were isolationists they do not share things with outsiders especially Bohesh.
