Summer Court of the Elves

The Elven Courts are less a specific organization and more of an all-encompassing philosophy and world-view to which Elven communities and individuals ascribe. The Summer Court is the more altruistic of the three courts, Summer Elves believe that the purpose of Elven life is to cultivate positive energy in the world, light, beauty, freedom, peace. They believe that life should foster life, harmony spilling over and benefiting everyone. Summer Elves tend to place a high value on nature and the arts, it is not uncommon for Elves to spend generations mastering a single art form or cultivating new and beautiful forms of plant and animal life. The prosperous Elven kingdom of Salissia is one of the largest enclaves of Summer affiliated elves and is frequently the host of their official organizational apparatus. While they place a great emphasis on peace they are not afraid to fight. Elven warriors and magic users have centuries to foster an incredible level of skill in the arts of battle and they apply themselves to its study with the same level of patient pursuit as any other art. Summer Elven Commandos or Daybreakers are the bane of slavers the world over, appearing without warning, cutting down slavers and escaping with dozens or even hundreds of slaves. They live in an uneasy Cold War style armistice with the Winter Court of the Elves and oppose the Nebuchar  at every opportunity.
