Changelets

Changelets are meticulously crafted bracelets which allow the wearer to use the power assigned and kept in the bracelet. These are a considered legend where many people think were destroyed in the attack of the Sandsong Oasis, but they still exist, though all are kept in the same kingdom and are unable to be given out to others. There are a few people who still use them, which is okay because while everyone learns about them, no one knows what they look like, and it's impossible to tell until worn and used.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Changelets have magic-embued jewels engraved into them, allowing the user to mimic the magic in the jewels. At first, this was done as a party trick, but those who still use them are trying to hide from potential threats.

Manufacturing process

Smiths first take a piece of marian, grinding and shaping it into the foundation of the changelet. Secondly, they will carve out the desired shape for magic-embued jewels to sit, giving the power to the wearer. After finding the jewels for the changelet, the smaith must grt someone with the required power to embue the jewels with their magic. In the end, the smith will encase the jewels in the marian, leaving the changelet go rest for a day. After the entire process, the changelet is ready for use.

History

Changelets were created by accident by an unknown creator, popularized for party tricks around the Sandsong Oasis. After The Fall of the Sandsong Oasis, they were used to disguise the remaining Inoba, Salinto and Safina from the Intasu.
