Summary: Landan Deepgrace or the man formerly known as Landan Shallowterror was once a vicious pirate before watching his fellows dump a whole lot of ruined gun powder into the ocean without thought of the ocean life. Landan slaughtered them for their pollution and and used his connection with water to clean out the gunpowder. Landan gave up being a pirate and began living out his days as a hermit fisherman. One day Landan was visited by a heavyset Fisherman and the two became fast friends, the two spent a year together and then the heavy-set man revealed himself as Galu and told Landan that he wanted to see if Landan truly cared about the ocean. Galu gave Landan a sea shell and set him on the path to Galu’s Temple. When Landan arrived in Paradise Stand and entered Galu’s Temple, the Priests were skeptic about “The Terror of the Ocean” having changed his ways. Landan still entered into the temple as a cleric in training and despite all the Priests believing he was secretly planning on raiding Paradise Stand with a band of pirates, Landan proved them wrong when he was beaten near half to death by the High Priest of the time Cillis Nhavarth, a Triton Paladin. Galu appeared saving Landan’s life, Galu explained he used the Sea Shell as an info gathering conduit and stated to the Temple that Cillis would be removed from his position and Landan would take his place. Galu also took away Cillis’ connection to the ocean turning him into an Oathbreaker and banished him from the temple. Rumours have recently erupted in the city that Landan and Guard Lieautenant have been courting for a number of years
