Summary: According to both Hinge and Amethyst they have the same creator and both of them refuse to say anything about this person other than that they refer to them as "The Betrayer". While Amethyst is just about half the age that Hinge is, she still has a good relationship with her "elder brother"; neither of them speak of any of their other "siblings". Amethyst was actually rescued from the lab that "The Betrayer" built her by Hinge and he recommended her to the City Guard. Amethyst quickly gained the respect of many of her fellows including a young William Pelt and Veteran guard Neog Bravebreaker Thenakanu. During patrols Amethyst would often partner up with Neog and patrol the Religious district. After her promotion, Amethyst took over as the Lieutenant of the Religious District, while patrolling she met Landan Deepgrace and fell in love, they started a relationship but kept in on the down low until more recent years when some guards began spreading rumors which quickly spread.
