The Solar Disk

A recurring symbol in the ruins of ancient civilizations, this symbol depicts both the Sol and Lune, as well as the night sky in general. Sometimes, these disks feature a constellation important to its civilization's travelers. As such, the symbol represents both guidance and discovery.

The Starburst Coin

A more modern symbol, this coin depicts the Sol with a Human-like face and solar rays of alternating patterns along its edges. Very rarely, this coin may depict wings in place of some of the rays. The main interpretation of the symbol is of triumph, contentment, and joy. The coin is, unmistakably, the inspiration for The Sol in human Tarot.

A week-long festival initially made to tend to the spirits and bestow fertility on those yearning for a family, Fête de Sol is now used as a week of large music festivals, with some practicing religious tolerance. Many cultures are known to light bonfires during this week, with some even leaping over the flames or cinders.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Sol's ultimate goal is to constantly monitor the temperature of Solaris, and keep its temperatures within habitable levels. A personal goal of hers is to constantly visit her spouse, Lune-- this is where most of Lune's phases and eclipses are told to come from. She has a hand in the apocalypse as well, but that is far in the future.
