Dosra Daemon

(the Daemon of the East)

"Dosra Daemon, known as the Daemon of Body in our culture. These individuals live on the eastern side of Typhon's Teeth, and despite The Daemon Peoples being one and the same, they seem to look upon us as... well, inferior, in some way. The ethnic split is definitely a remnant of the past, as Dosra Daemon were known as the Aelivant, to our Corpelaut."

Culture

Shared customary codes and values

The Dosra Daemon have the same social structure as all Daemon in Typhon's Teeth do, though they have different naming mechanics for the races. Coloquially, all of the The Kin'ra are known as Elarin, The Si'rin are known as Ozarin, The Im'pe are known as Grigorin, and The To'rin are known as Nefolrin.

Due to the Dosra Daemon being known to be remarkably-feathered, they go by different names in the Universal Human Tongue. Respectively, they go by Legion (instead of Kinnar), Harpy (instead of Siren), Nymph (instead of Imp), and Nephilim (instead of Cambion).

Common Etiquette rules

Ettiquette in Dosra society is far different than Zilra society, in the fact that they are far more flashy than their Western counterparts. Many of them keep their wings unfurled, as it is a show of Daemonic pride to them; this is in contrast to the Zilra, where they show pride in their horns. Eye contact, however, is still seen as aggressive.

They also tend to keep their bodies covered from head to toe in draped, decorative clothing; some even conceal their faces with masks or drapery specifically designed to be worn on the head. In Dosra culture, it is seen as a Mark of Sin that their faces fit within the typical shapes of a Human, so it stays hidden until Superadulthood.

The title system of Dosra is slightly modified, compared to standard Daemonic conventions. Lower Castes are called by their race name by Castes above them regardless of familiarity, and higher Castes are called by their specific occupation title by those below them. Regal names are only used in the context of family groups.

Honorifics replace the "person" suffix in title names; these honorifics dictate age or social status, and are usually used towards Daemon of the same race as the speaker. In places where there is familiarity between individuals, like within occupations, these are used regardless of race. Using Ozarin as an example, the Daemon would be called Ozabat if younger, Ozalin if a comparative age, or Ozados if older.

Common Dress code

Dress code in Dosra Daemon society is rather strict, in comparison to that of the Zilra. Faces should be covered, in part or in full, at all times. Even in Superadulthood, do the Dosra keep their faces hidden, however: typically, the only ones that show their face are individuals that both have a Title and have reached Superadultdom.

When it comes to garments, long draped sleeves are what is commonly worn between all of the castes, as well as a layer on top of that: depending on the Caste and occupation, that layer is either a knee-length cassock, vest, or mantle. If an individual is elementally attuned, they usually wear cuffs. If an individual is a priest (or cleric) of Asezhurin faith, they also wear a stole with the holy symbols of their patron(s) depicted on it.

Typically, the undergarments of a Dosra Daemon are a plain, muted color within the white or black range [never grey]. Other pieces of clothing have coloration and patterns that are dictated by the Caste. A Grigorin won't have much, if any, detail on their clothing, but an Elarin will have tons of ornamentation and embroidery in their dress. It is also a commonality that the higher the Caste, the more vivid the coloration of clothing can be.
