The Cheerful Wardens

There is no formal military in Felize, but "The Cheerful Wardens" are a group of organized volunteers that patrol the lands in a circuit that takes 6 months to complete. They take this patrol on "The Infinity Road", which connects every settlement in Felize. The common folk do not usually pay attention to the schedules and movements of the wardens, but each warden is familiar with the other members, their squad names and sizes, their schedules, and virtually anything else to know about their activities as wardens. Irregularities that pop up are noticed quickly and corrected by other members. They are self governed and paid by the taxes of the people.
Most clothing is made from cotton and leather in Felize, even the armor they wear. The Cheerful Wardens are renowned for their ability to duel, and stories are told of their ability to win any fight where they have no glaring handicap. They commonly use single handed weapons with a buckler or parrying dagger, or use a more aggressive dual weapon style with twin spears or swords. They also make use of alchemical bombs and throwing knives in their peculiar fighting style.
