Professor Layton

Also known as the Litch of Morgrave, Professor Layton is the HEAD of necromantic studies at Magewatch College. It was also revealed to the party that he holds the power of Vecna. He is an old friend and collegue of Hyuga Hakasho, and is known for his peculiar method of simulacrum creation. As a human with the cognition of a god, the only way for him to stay sane is to split his conciousness between several avatars, connected by a neural network. One such copy is in the posession of the party, and has offered them both advice and powerful magic in times of need. Not everything is known about his motivations, for now, he is considered an ally.
