Gnoll

The Gnolls are an ethnic tribe of mammalian Beastmen, characterized by their mixture of feliform features and canid behaviors. They typically stand between 6 and 8 feet tall, have 4 fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, each tipped with blunt, non-retractable claws, and powerful fanged mouths. The most distinguishing feature of Gnolls are their tall and lean frames, combined with striking spotted or striped fur, which lends them greater speed than many other bipedal races. They also have a strong elemental connection with wind, and call The Calm Plains their home traditionally, which has powerful and often destructive winds year-round. Native tribes often use unique structures that catch the wind or redirect it, some tribes bind their tents together to drift on the wind like dandelion seeds, while other may use magic to insulate themselves from the harsher winds. The Gnoll tribes, in contrast to other Beastmen, have been able to keep a large portion of their native lands, mostly because there aren’t many resources that occur there naturally, and most of them are found there.
