Elizabeth Williams

A childhood friend of Edward and Kylar King. Her mother Charlotte and Edward's father worked together to build R&W Shipping Co. Their relationship was strained after Daniel performed a hostile takeover of business. This event caused a rift between Elizabeth and Edward; when Edward gave up his inherritance and left home, Elizabeth was left in the dark as to his weherabouts. In the years after, the Williams family saw their social status deteriorate and much of their wealth was lost, leaving them with middle class status. Elizabeth found a passion for working to make the trade laws of Crossroads more just, so that fates similar to the ones that befell her family would not happen to anyone else. Years later, after the death of Lord Brocktree during the Crossroads massacre, Edward reappeared in her life. When the party came into conflict with his father on behalf of the union, the two officially reconnected. After a very hard conversation and a sorely needed but thoughtful series of apologies, Elizabeth had given Edward another chance. They are slowly rebuilding their trust as the two work side-by-side to rebuild Crossroads.
