Asskicker

Asskicker is an uncommonly polite orcish hunter and former poacher based in The Bountylands. He has a twin sister named Shitkicker that runs a gang of thieves in The City of Crossroads. He claimed that his father taught him to be courteous even to those he considers enemies, but the family was separated when the twins were young, after which he lived with his father and attended school in Wildwood Boneyard and then later in The Brighton Islands.
Accounts differ on the timeline of Asskicker’s early criminality—he was between the ages of 12 and 18 when he committed his first murder, which was a teacher of his that insulted his mother. By eighteen he had joined the Magpies, which conducted all sorts of criminal operations around his island home.
He soon after formed his own criminal gang, which is reported to have been much less nasty, brutish, and short lived than similar pirate outfits. The have dabbled in bank heists, kidnapping and extortion, piracy, and most recently poaching. He has been apprehended by mercenaries from The Bountylands before, but always seems to pull off a daring escape. When he encountered the party in 1266, they persuaded him to stop poaching an endangered species of Water Hare to harvest and sell the oil their skin produces (This was the origin of "Look, man"). Him and his crew now serve on the Environmental Conservation Committee under Pongo the Beastman in The Bounty Sea, being paid as a security team to conserve endangered plants and animals around Nicklebrick Junction and Crawliwop.

Asskicker is a classic gentleman criminal, always willing to do what needs to be done for survival, but on his own terms within his own code. His politeness may be a form of self-soothing or self-control mechanism that helps him keep his darker impulses in check, which also helps him to compartmentalize the evil deeds he performs to support himself. Through his brief encounter with Sorina, it is seen that he prefers to mirror emotion rather than expressing his own feelings, letting others take the lead in intimate contexts.
