Johanna, also known as the All- Mother, is the goddess of wind, freedom, music and clouds of the Soirean pantheon.

Within Federland there are two major artefacts used to revere Johanna:

• Picture stones used to document Johanna's various myths deeds for the people.
  
• Sacred Runestones used to mark sacred sites and commune with Johanna
  

Aside from these two there are also objects and places which are said to be sacred to Johanna such as the Heilige Pfeifen des Vindar and the Falkí Tower where she supposedly slumbers.

Tenets of Faith

The main belief of those who follow Johanna's religion is that all should be free to be who they want and what they want without harming anyone. There is a belief that those who commit oppression or unjust violence will be eaten by the montrous offspring of the Formbreytir, the Weltschlange, the Lenketbeist and the Hálflifandi. Those who died happy, as good people or as warriors who died protecting their homeland and others would go to Haven, which they called Himnavöllur and those who stayed true to the faith woud go to live with Johanna in Skýsalr in eternal joy and freedom.

Holidays

The Fjalldetta- the day the meadow was created.
Volkserntefest- The day most major crops, ie. beer and wine, are harvested.
Formbreytir Födelsedag- The day offerings are made to the Formbreytir and his children to keep good relations.
Sjøanrop Hale- A festival where the coastal Feders celebrate the fishing haul.
Fljótandi Skrúðganga- A day where every avian takes to the skies in hot hair balloons and circles around the entire nation.

Johanna's most iconic feature are her two sets of bird wings, with one set on her back and one on her ears.

Personal history

It is said that Johanna first came into existence when the previous goddess of weather, Heaven, was split into the winds and storms, Johanna and Zhanar respectively. The first appearance of Johanna within any myths is the myth of the creation of Federland, in which she could not bear to see the people struggle among the atlas mountains, and thus she flattened the mountains into a basin for them to live.

Morality & Philosophy

Johanna's characteristic is freedom and as such she believes that all creatures should be free to choose and unbound by worries. As a consequence however she is known to be quite lazy and slow herself when not needed by her people.

Johanna is incredibly gentle and kind, she is not quick to judge and is very patient with those she loves, extending to her people. Though slow, she is reliable ,joyous and fun to be around. She will often offer to ease any mental tress with her pan pipes.
