Soirean Pantheon

The gods of Soirea. Despite being classified by both scholars and religious leaders as a pantheon, the Soirean "Pantheon" in fact includes many pantheons withing it, each one containing the respective spirits and creatures of its god.

Structure

Because of the similar status of most of the Gods, there is really only two titles within the pantheon:

Celestials- The first generation of Gods created by the Will of the Void. They are all the same age and regard each other as friends and comrads. They stand in direct opposition to the 7 demons of sin as the 7 virtues. The Lord of Hours rules over the celestials and subsequently the elementals.
The Celestials are as follows:
Cosmo- The 3 faced Lord of Hours- God of Time and Order. The king of the Gods
Aditi- The Enternal Many armed Mother- Goddess of Space and Charity
Keola- The Verdant Father- God of Life and Prosperity
Yomi- The Faceless Mistress of souls- Goddess of Death and Balance
Safiri- The Sacrificial Shining Warrior - God of Light and Fortitude
Lihua- The All-Knowing Silver Queen- Goddess of Shadows and Wisdom
Elementals- The second generation of Gods. The sons and daughters of the God of life and Goddess of death. Each elemental presides over and is the guardian deity of their domains. Each represents an ideal and way of life. The Elementals are as follows:
Milintica- He who scorches the land- God of War, Fire and Passion. Twin brother of Ocelotl.
Ocelotl- He who halts the breath- God of Cunningness, Smoke and Craftiness. Twin brother of Milintica
Wanwisa- The weeping Goddess- Goddess of Water, Peace and Tranquility.
Aminta- The earth shaker- Goddess of Earth, Protection and Stability.
Johanna- All-Mother- Goddess of Wind, Music and Freedom.
Ivan- The king seldom seen- God of Ice, Survival and Efficiency.
Porasy- Kind Chieftess of Verdure- Goddess of Flora, Harvest and Harmony.
Zhanar- Graceful, Merciful Queen of the skies- Goddess of Lightning, Speed and Perfection.
Erodisiel/le- A beauty unlike any other- Deity of Love, Procreation and Beauty.
Chisisi- Elusive lord of the sands- God of Dust, Promises and Secrets.
Felix- He who cures all worries -God of Metals, Money and Merriment.
Enapay- Divine storyteller- God of Fauna, Stories and Memories. Twin brother of Aningaat.
Aningaat- The Slumbering one- God of Dreams, Magic and Diplomacy. Twin Brother of Enapay.

History

According to all known sources, in the beginning of the universe, there was absolute nothingness, until the void gained a consciousness and formed The Volition. From THEM, the Celestials were born, first Time, then Space, Life, Death, Light and finally Shadow. The Celestials went on to shape the universe into existence, painting the starry tapestry and breathing life into the planets and moons. Soon enough they created magicless humans to roam their newly made planets. Thus began the first era. The first era saw the emergence of the first 5 tribes, dedicated to wordshipping the Celestials, all except Lady Decay. It was not until the first formation of a demon were the gods threatened. Seeing the mistreatment of mortals, they shackled the demons who had nothing but sin in their hearts. Only after being guided to settle within the foggy sea by She who must not be summoned to escape the sins did mortals begin worshipping the Mistress of Souls in all her dark glory. Thus began the second era. The union of Life and Death had always been a mystery to even the most learned scholars, but nonetheless, they were married and had many children. Now free from the oppression of the sins, many tribes were able to be protected by the Elementals. This era was widely considered the longest and most glorius era, and it was many developments across the world. Thus began the third era. One day, a dark wizard of no name tapped into infernal energy, creating naught but the smallest crack within the shackles of the sins. This tampering was enough for the sins' influence to seep out into the world, causing an unprecidented amount of corruption. Feeding off of this, the sins were able to free themselves from their shackles, and wreak havoc across the planet. The Gods retaliated, inciting an all out war for an entire year. The skies darkened and the seas turned red. With gluttony and greed released, famine, plague and theft ran rampant, and gods died in action. Stories tell of when the Silver Queen watched her sisters die, her anger and fury could have been matched with only the Faceless Maiden and He who scorches the Land. In the end the sins were weakened significantly to the point where they are stuck in their mortal forms, however with the original shackles broken, only inferior ones could be made at the time, binding them to their weaker mortal forms while their beastly forms stay trapped. Unfortunately, it is because of these weakened chains that many mortals will still find themselves persuaded by the voices of sin.

Cosmological Views

Unknown to most mortals, the Echo ,which exists separate to the Many armed Mother, is the original god and being of the universe, and is considered the 7th Celestial. However, because of the fact that they are in fact nothing incarnate, mortals who learn of Their existence promptly forget, leading to mortals never acknowledging why despite there being 7 Celestials, they can only name 6.
Safiri is the god of light and the sun. By day he spins the planet atop his sacred beast, and by night he runs from the Wise Goddess, fearful of another long conversation with her.
Lihua is the Goddess of shadow and the moon. Originally one of 3 moon sisters, she was the only one remaining after the Infernal War. Each night she rides a different moon chariot across the sky, two of which are badly damaged and belonged to the Others. Her sisters Meihua and Chahua originally commanded the Opal and Aquatic moons and also shared the title as goddesses of wisdom and knowledge.
