Valia Rotavele

Youngest daughter of self made noble Nikon Rotavele, Valia has used her natural abilities as a magic user to join the Supreme Council of Sorcerers and further the study of Illusion magic.
After attending and dropping out of Arcane's Blood in Storm's end, she caught the attention of the Council by using her magic to further her fathers family business by creating a mass illusion around the city causing all the jewellery and gemstones in the city look dull and unimpressive, aside from her fathers.
That amount of mostly untrained magical capability surprised the council, and made them want her under their banner. Therefore, Valia is the youngest member of the Council. Her mastery and knowledge of the evocation domaine has caused her to become the unofficial head of evocation. Most are simply waiting for the current archmage of Illusion to step down, and for her to take his place.
Due to her natural gifts as an illusionist, she has been drawn towards the illegal worship of Lolth, the Goddess of deception, and has gathered a small group of cultists by one means or another. Valia is convinced that Lolth granted her her powers, and has sworn herself to her service. In short, she has become a cult leader.

Recent Activity:
Valia has signed a contract to work with the Kings army. Using her powerful magic, she has caused the city of Alemar to appear destroyed. In reality, the city is under heavy illusion magic, the real city is under the control of Caer Oswin. 
She is preparing a trap for the Naranor. Once the resurection of Lolth is ready, Zofia will teleport the Naranor to a room in the spire of Aeons. The room is locked and contains dead bodies. When the Naranor escapes, Valia is in a ceremony to become head of illusion, the Naranor is captured and thrown in jail.
