The Crown's Conclave

The Crown's Conclave was created during the early years of Val Royeaux as a personal council of the king. Its members gave their advise and counselled the king upon matters that the king did not have knowledge.
A seat on The Crown's Conclave has always come with a vast amount of power and importance, though the levels of each are dependant on how much The Conclave is utilized by the ruling power.
Currently, Yula Valqine relies very heavily on The Crown's Conclave, and therefore, its members have risen very quickly in importance.

The Mage of Communications - always a graduate of Arcane's Blood, this mage is in charge public relations between the crown and the population, creation and distribution of propaganda, communication between the cities of Val Royeaux and control of Cainhurst's teleportation portal. Smaller tasks include accompanying the diplomat when necessary, political relations with the school of Arcane's Blood and scouting for future graduates that could fill positions of government.
The Mage of Magical Studies - Typically a graduate of Arcane's Blood and always more powerful than the mage of communication, this mage is tasked with giving council on all things magic related, as well as sitting in on The Crowns Council. Other tasks include the managing of moral magical practices, as well as leading The Heralds of Magical Creation and Innovation.
The Diplomat - Is in charge of relations and trade with other kingdoms. Is involved in writing laws and policies when involving other kingdoms. Works closely with the ambassador from Halamshiral in order to keep their relationship fruitful. Smaller tasks include working with the mage of communication, informing the crown on goings on in other kingdoms, and hosting distinguished guests when necessary.
The General - One of a few Generals under the Warlord. Informs the crown on military actions and relays non-vital messages to and from the Warlord. Councils the crown on military strategy and deployment.
The Coffer - Essentially the master of coin, in charge of managing the crown's money as well as advising and overseeing region changing transactions. If your paid by the crown, this is who the money comes from.
Head of Legislature - in charge of the creation of laws.
Religious Leader - Is the connection between the churches and the government. In charge of Val Royeaux's ascension ritual.
