Once a proud culture of Druid peoples, they were conquered by the elves who colonized them for centuries. Their closeness to animal-kind [as well as their druid ways] were assailed and barated by their colonizers, but helped them survive immensely when the 'Squalls' came. Now they tussle between becoming independent in this cataclysm or strengthening their autonomy as a piece of their conqueror's territory.
