Traveling Tradesmen

In Myvera there are daring people called Tradesmen. These people are willing to risk life and limb to sell their goods. Even though the world is falling apart. Even though some parts of the world are insufferably hot or excruciatingly cold, they pack their bags and goods anyways.

Qualifications

All that is needed to be a Tradesmen is to be brave, tough, and good with words. They are still trying to make a living after all.

Perception

Purpose

The Tradesmen travel from town to town to sell their goods. In older years, the Tradesmen would have a certain trade route, however a Myvera started to break down and die the trade routes started to fade. These Traders then started going wherever they could sell the most materials and food.

Tradesmen, now, not only just sell foods, textiles, and other materials, they are also known for relaying news to more reclusive areas. Every town they go to they get news and tell news. How accurate that news is varies from Tradesman to Tradesman.

Social Status

Previously in Myvera being a Tradesmen was nothing special. It was simply going from town to town and place to place selling what you grew or crafted. Now being a Tradesmen is one of the most precious things in the world. They are the people who bring food to a region that can no longer grow food. They bring clothes and textiles for people that cannot make such things.

A Tradesmen is seen as an important roll throughout this currently dark state of Myvera.

Tools

A Tradesman will typically have some kind of makeshift tent, a horse or donkey, and a travel bag with extra clothes. Along with those items he will have sacks of water, defensive weapons, and his goods.

Tradesmen provide three main services: food, clothes, and news.
