Introduction to the Slumbering Gods

Welcome to Slumbering Gods!

The Slumbering Gods is a place where Gods are fading and where man must save them. First, there are four worlds are the Home of the Gods, Where the Gods Slumber, The World, and Purgatory, That's Not Purgatory.   The Home of the Gods is where the gods live. Humans cannot enter this place. Although in the past this was a possibility, but many humans still did not enter this godly realm often, if ever. (Of course, some didn't go because of the might mood swings of the gods, but the writer could never put that. She wouldn't want to offend anyone.)   Where the Gods Slumber is a place where the gods sleep, where they are forced to sleep, and forced to wait for a human to come along and wake them. This is almost the inbetween for gods and humans, except no human has been to this place. At least, until Avron. (I, personally, would never see this place. What with the demons there, but if you like that go ahead. I won't stop you. Please be aware, this is not the writer's doing.)   The World is where 2/5 of the main characters come from. This place is where humans live and is directly affected by the life and death of a god. The gods are banned from this place, and are forced by the Treaty of Deraphan to never return to The World. (Yes, I hate this place. It's absolutely awful. But I suppose there are certain things that even the writer is not allowed to tell you. What a shame.)   Lastly, Purgatory That's Not Purgatory is a place where humans could meet with the gods either "spiritually" or "physically" and recieve something from them. It could be a gift/blessing, a curse, something else. (The reason it's called Purgatory That's Not Purgatory is becuase in this place you wait and do activities to be "purified" or "prepared" to see whichever god you wish to see. It's Not Purgatory" because you don't go to heaven. You just go back to The World.)            (This place is actually really boring, you never see it. But remember the writer can't be biased, so I suppose it really is up to me to give you these important bits of information.)    There is one more thing to tell before you go off and explore these wonderful worlds. Don't believe anyone or anything. There are well thought and well weaved lies throughout the worlds. Everything you see could be false. A fake. A phony. A lie. So be wary and don't trust anything you read. (Including this.)       Note from the writer. If you are to ever go into one of these worlds, be prepared. Because if you are not there are monsters, demons, and various other things that could kill you. Some things that could kill you, and you would never know you had died. Trust me. I experienced and saw everything.     I, the transcriber of this work, would also like to warn you, dear reader. There is something out there. Beware. Be careful. After all, there are things worse than death. And don't go into the ███████ful, and ████. Don't say I didn't warn you.

This is such an interesting premise, I really like how you included notes from the author as well in here, I adore a sentient narrator type of story!

Thank you, I love sentient narrators as well. This is actually more prevalent in my "Verinar" section, but each of my articles do feature some hint about who the narrator is and even the transcriber.
