Vita-Ra
Home planet to the industrious Terrkarakki. A weaker magnetic field drives most life underground, but the Krakki have evolved to conquer the surface.
Ecology:
Vita-Ra orbits a binary star system, which combined with it's weak magnetic field created a very radioactive planetary surface. A majority of non-krakki life on this planet lives in extensive underground cave systems. Most of these caves are carved by the fauna themselves over millions of years of hiding from their suns' rays. The scars of the Krakki civil wars dot the landscape as enormous craters and irradiated zones, but many of these have since been hidden below fresh industry and metropolis.History:
The once barren surface is now home to impact craters and sprawling cities of the Terrkarakki people. Their radiation-resistant skin allowed them to take over the planet as the dominant species. The surface of Vita-Ra is filled with civilization from pole to pole. With such high population density, large swaths of the population would routinely leave for new frontiers in the dawn of their grand colonization. Now, though, the planet has been drained of much of it's mineral deposits so their ability to build new ships has diminished significantly. Most Vita-Ra technology is heavily recycled.Locations:
