Perseus

Perseus is the capital planet of Seven Star. As one of the earliest planets settled by humanity, it sits at only 12 light years away from humanity's home planet Earth. The planet has a glittering appearance from distant orbit due to the towering cities packed into its most habitable zones. Many of the older cities were built as enclosed environments during the time when Perseus' atmosphere was not breathable. These "bubble cities" are the icon of this planet often used as imagery in tourism and faction symbology. Terraformation has changed Perseus into a planet suitable for humans to exist freely on the surface, but the enclosed style of architecture is still very popular.
Perseus' moons Medusa and Cetus are also host to thriving cities, as well as most of the planet's space-centric efforts.

Ecology

Perseus is a larger rocky planet located at the outermost orbit of its home star. It's surface is largely brown and dotted with old craters within which the inhabitants of the planet grow their greenery. Around the greener spots exist the densely packed cities of Seven Star's center. These combined give the planet a polka-dot look from orbit. The minimal surface water is human-placed, with much of the planet's fresh water existing solely in underground rivers and aquifers.
