Manifest
The home planet of the Jalgar. Manifest is notable for it's cool yet lush equatorial swamps and expansive unexplored wilderness.
Ecology:
Manifest is a medium-sized planet with a humid atmosphere and diverse biomass. While lacking in oceans, much of the planet is home to shallow swamps of both fresh and salt water. Cooler than earth, the frozen poles of the planet extend to cover around 50% of it's surface area, but are no less full of life than the more temperate biomes. The native life forms of Manifest stand out from other xenofauna due to the complex symbiotic relationships they all share with a single genus of microbe that is found within all of them. All of the non-native residents of manifest (The Jalgar and their livestock) have come to also host this same microbe; research is still being done on its effects to this day. Despite being the listed home planet of the Jalgar, Manifest is largely unexplored compared to other home planets. Expeditions are carried out frequently by the Jalgar to map its surface.History:
Manifest is considered to be a rare, true haven for life in the galaxy. Boasting ecosystems form pole to pole, this planet has a rich natural history in the distant Rapid Sector. No known sapient life has evolved on this planet, tho many of the xenofauna posses their own unique intelligences. Generations ago, the Jalgar people crash landed on Manifest after being thrown through Slidepsace unexpectedly. Once human, the Jalgar made use of genetic mutagens and Trallyean biotech to evolve into the unique species they are today. Manifest has been their home since. Despite their initial landing site not receiving careful treatment due to necessity, the Jalgar try to be slow and intentional about their expansion on the planet. Manifest is not open to visitors, as the Jalgar want to keep their world their own.Locations:
