Rewind
The ability to reverse time is a powerful one, and as such, REwind is one of the more powerful, but unstable, affinities out there. Low level Rewinds can only bounce back a few seconds and reroll something, but higher levels can fall back a few minutes and explore different options of dialogue, exploration, and anticipate encounters.
Level I:
Level I rewinds aren't the most powerful beings, but a level I rewind is still strong if you have a dangling Affinity point. Only able to bounce back a few seconds, this level of rewind is only really used to re-roll bad rolls and try to do something better than before. Didn't manage to dodge that attack? Try again. That hit didn't connect? Then re-adjust your attack and try again. When using rewind to reroll a roll, gain a +1 to that roll for each time you've rewound it. However, you can't constantly rewind. At level one, you only have 3 rewinds per long rest, so use them wisely.
Level II:
Able to bounce back in time a minute or two, this version of Rewinds opens one up to many more opportunities. Warning of future encounters, restarting failed encounters, or playing with different lines of dialogue. You also have 2 more rewinds than before, allowing for 5 rewinds before needing a long rest.
Level III:
You are now able to bounce back up to 15 minutes prior, completely avoiding encounters, conversations, and more. Not only this, but you can retain the knowledge of others when rewinding, allowing them to know everything they experienced in the time they lost/regained. You also have a total of 10 rewinds per long rest.
Level IV:
A natural chronomancer with powers that scale beyond the eldest trained, You have the ability to restart entire days, and bring people with you, preserving their knowledge of everything that has happened before. You also gain the ability to return to the time you rewound from, creating small beacons throughout the timeline, like save files. However, you also have the ability to sustain paradoxes, preventing something from happening in the past, but preserving the future and preventing any butterfly effects. Use your power wisely, you now hold the ability to unravel the universe as your know it.
