Elenchus
Elenchus, also known as truth-seers, have the interesting ability to see when someone is lying and/or telling the truth. Some can be fooled with half truths, others with partial lies. The rarer few cannot be tricked at all.
Level I:
The simplest form of truth-seer, these people are easily fooled, but they can see a blatant lie when approached with one. However, half-truths and partial lies can easily fly past them.
Level II:
A more advanced form of Elenchus, these people can still be fooled, but only by the most elaborate half-truths.
Level III:
Absolutely unfoolable, these Elenchi always know when someone isn't being truthful. While they don't know what is a lie in a sentence, they do know if they aren't getting all the information.
Level IV:
More than just seers, these people can literally pull the truth out of others, disallowing lies in their presence. However, this is a dual-edged swords as they cannot control this ability, forcing even their loved ones to never tell a lie before them.
