The God of Rebirth (a.k.a. The Black Lamb)

Livalma is one of the newest Dragon gods. A Twin to Kilguman, and true son of Luma, Livalma is the Dragon god of rebirth.
Livalma is best known for his part in what happens to a soul when a creature dies. As the patient half of the pair of hunters that claim the souls of the dead, Livalma takes the form of a humanoid black lamb wearing a white mask of a wolf's face that covers all but his pair of pupil-less piercing white eyes that bear judgement on the very core of your soul. Where the pale wolf delights in savagery, the lamb prefers the serenity of patience. The lamb visits a soul in the fleeting moments of a creature's life and tells the soul it is dying. Livalma then offers to guide it to the next life if it accepts death. If the soul refuses a frightening howl pierces the realm of spirits and the hunt of the pale wolf begins. Should the soul make it back to its body, the creature will live to meet the lamb again.

This process is especially important for the elves, who rarely refuse the guidance of the black lamb.

Physical Description

Body Features

Livalma rarely takes his true draconic form. Instead he usually appears as a humanoid black lamb wearing a mask of a white wolf's face.

His draconic form is that of a light grey-green scaled dragon with prominent horns that project outwards from the sides and top of his head.

Identifying Characteristics

Livalma's most identifying feature is his eyes. While it isnt rare for some creatures to have white eyes, dragons included, Livalma's eyes are something else entirely. Their seemingly inescapable gaze gives you a feeling that even the very core of your soul is visible to Livalma. To be the subject of Livalma's gaze is something that you never forget.

Livalma always splits his empowered paladins based on what role he wants them to perform. Half of his paladins are to search and guide the souls of the dead, while the other half are to mark lost or defiant souls for the hunt. Paladins of Livalma are often respected elders, or estranged outcasts, as their knowledge of, and participation in what happens after death usually alters their personality considerably.

Mannerisms

Livalma is alien in many ways. Most who come into contact with him leave frightened and confused, as Livalma's purpose, and how he acts are simply beyond the understanding of even the other gods.

Speech

Livalma only ever speaks to the souls he seeks to guide into the afterlife. Even his most trusted paladins never once hear a word from their patron god.
