Rx6 "Dungeon Bug"
General Summary
- We delve into the dungeon! We find a pillbug and Ame immediately runs up and punts it. Joey gambles and it almost goes poorly but instead does nothing. After way too much time Dr Parks says “fuck it” and throws fire at it.
- We sneak around and find some stairs, yay! But we also see three sockets, boo!
- We get attacked by flies that swarm Cain (who can’t hit for shit apparently), and we all buff the shit out of Ame to just blast em.
- We walk through a door and it almost hydrologically locks behind us and Ame quickly shoves a dagger in the trap to stop it
- We find a treasure chest with 300z and one of the runes (earth).
- We use the lure to get an entire room of just so many of them to a corner
- We find a lone fly around a skull, we kill the fly and Kayden uses a fabula point to make the skull special. It’s a full skeleton with a black buster sword with a golden edge and a medallion with a rampant eagle. Ame studies both to determine the sword has a greater darkness magistone. It’s the highest quality weapon we’ve seen by far. Stronger creatures are vulnerable to its damage, but non-boss creatures you are vulnerable to. We decide for Cain hold it and equip it at the boss fight. We also take the skeleton with us.
- We find a chest we find six jars of pink liquids that Dr Parks recognizes is the bug’s honey that works as a medicine and 100z. We also find a resting room, there’s at least one on each floor.
- We find a chest that’s locked and bugs jump out, Cain manages to slam the chest shut on two of the bugs. We fought the scorpion and two pillbugs join us.
- We find a chasm and find these boots that have different effects based on the gems in it. With earth gems one can create steps. Cain and Ame go up the chasm to check it out, see a room full of bones and a sentient evil armor with a sword. We noped the fuck out of that and just went back. We then test out the boots on different gems: Fire gives a boost, bolt gives magnetism, darkness lets you shadow walk.
- The bugs start following us and we find a fucking hat man who is a Dungeon Merchant who offers us trades. We traded some of the honey for the light rock that we need for the door upstairs. He makes tea for us and Dr Parks recognizes he’s a plague doctor. He states he died in the dungeon and continues living as a merchant. His name is Gundulperht Von Klaukkerstein. Ame puts two minor dark stones for trade. There were two useful items and a recently dead body, we make the difficult choice to bring the body with us.
- Tells us three chests, 2 are not our friends, one will lead to our salvation. We check the chests, one is breathing, one smells like olive oil, and one has scales with a standard dark magistone and the rock we need. We use the ghost powers to grab the stuff and bypass a bunch of rooms to get back.
- We find a chest with a mini fridge of useful items! We make it up the stairs to the next floor.
